Strong reduction hides the nose but the remarkably intense and super concentrated broad-shouldered flavors are cool and powerfully mineral-driven yet dance across the palate with grace even though the long, explosive and forcefully structured finish is old school to the point of being strict. Still, this is one seriously impressive wine that is built for the very long-term. Do not buy this unless you intend to allow it at least 10 to 12 years of cellar time.
