**Note: from several parcels totaling 1.5 ha that are roughly divided between .90 ha of terres rouges and .60 ha of terres blanches, the latter of which has the slightly older vines**Here the nose is more expressive than it usually is at this point in its evolution with an unusually perfumed and highly spiced collection of dark currant, plum, violet, earth and sandalwood scents. The sleek, cool and again relatively elegant big-bodied flavors possess strikingly good mid-palate concentration before delivering flat out superb complexity on the muscular but balanced and hugely long finish. This terrific effort is a definite 'wow' wine and built to enjoy an extremely long life.
